How can I describe Linda?
When we met in 1992 the adjective that came to mind was 'special'
Of course at times she could also be as argumentative, irritable and annoying as the rest of us, but mostly she was loving, thoughtful, funny, imaginative and at times even magical, but always something special.
She loved a good conversation so how she ended up with me I'll never know!
Linda questioned everything and brought out the best in people.
I think I can speak with authority for her family and friends in saying that if you'd ever spent any time with Linda, life was never dull.
She once told me in Canada that our lives were meant to be shaken up by the people we love, and told me to listen to Barbra Streisand's 'Being Alive' once we got back to England. I did, and I think she may well be right.
